Since Dr. Jeffrey Goldberg introduced me to Dr. Robert Chang, I have been incredibly impressed with his patient relationship skills, his listening skills, how he treats his staff, and of course the outstanding outcome that I have had with my two surgeries to reduce my high eye pressure in both eyes. I would recommend Dr. Chang to all of my friends and family. My eye pressure is now 10/10 and it was 27/35 and my vision is 20/20!

Dr Chang did my cataract and glaucoma surgery for both eyes. The results are excellent. In both times the surgery went smoothly. He is a great eye surgeon.
I went in to the Stanford Byers Eye Institute to have Dr. Robert T. Chang perform my cataract surgery (that was a big step for me because I'm a Cal Berkeley graduate- LOL). I must add that I previously had a very bad experience with Stanford Emergency-- so I can't say that all Stanford MDs are wonderful-- or even competent. What I can say is that there are not enough stars to give Dr. Chang in this review. He patently answered all of my questions and provided a wonderful experience (I was a little anxious and not the easiest patent). Because of his calm presence, I went into the surgery confident that everything was being well managed by this wonderful doctor, whom I have already recommended to all of my friends.
Dr Chang is a one of a kind doctor. He is not only extremely intelligent and knowledgeable — the top of the field in glaucoma — I was referred to him by another ophthalmologist and actually changed insurance plans so I could see him — but he is also extremely kind, humble and patient. He’ll listen carefully to my concerns, explains thoroughly, and even responds to questions I think of after the appointment that I send him via email. He also is very careful and has scheduled close-together appointments to monitor the condition. My heart feels very much at peace because of his care.
