Dr. Chang is a great doctor, he has got a great personality that brings warmth and joys to patients hearts.

Dr. Chang has been treating me for almost two years. He has performed surgery on my eye for glaucoma issues and has been monitoring it ever since. He is professional, kind and has a quiet, but friendly demeanor and always makes time to hear our my concerns and never rushes my appointments.

Dr. Robert Chang, a Glaucoma and Cataract specialist of Byers Eye Institute at Stanford, has been caring for my eyes and the related vision issues for more than a decade. More than 10 years ago, when I just retired from my 39-year long career in the high-tech industry, little did I know how important it is to have my eyes and vision cared for by a cutting-edge doctor during my retirement life. However, I was extraordinarily fortunate to meet, and becoming, one of Dr. Chang's many patients via a referral by Dr. Steven Sanislo of the Byers Eye Institute. It was in a routine appointment with Dr. Sanislo for an annual eye checkup that he suspected (and he was right) that I might have the Glaucoma infliction. Dr. Chang had quickly confirmed the condition. Due to the early stage of the condition, I was spared from the serious damages to my eyes after treatments by Dr. Chang. Dr. Robert Chang with his cutting-edge expertise, staff and technology have benefited a vast number of existing patients at Byers Eye Institute at Stanford for years. I am greatly grateful for his comprehensive approach to the eye care and his excellent research efforts while taking care of my eyes. It is my pleasure to share my fortunes of being his patient with my eyes cured by him to introduce Dr. Chang to a greater number of people who live in the area west of the Mississippi and may be benefited from his advanced eye care expertise.

Dr. Chang is an excellent Ophthalmologist. He fits me in to see him out of his extremely busy schedule & I appreciate that. He did a combined cataract & glaucoma surgery in my left eye on 03/21/22 & it was successful. His assistant surgeon Dr. Peterson is also very kind. My eye pressure was perfect the day after the surgery although my vision was still blurry. But I’m confident that it’ll eventually get so much better. It just takes time to heal. I did not have much pain after surgery. I would like to say that Dr. Chang is a very compassionate; talented; competent; resourceful & hard working Ophthalmologist. I highly recommend Dr. Chang to anyone who needs to see an Ophthalmologist including my family members & friends! Thank you Dr. Chang for your excellent service!
