Dr. Chang is a true doctor, who will move mountains of bureaucracy to make sure his patients, and his patients' family members, get the care needed. I'm updating my review because just today, my family member urgently needed retina care at Stanford and Dr. Chang went and spoke with the best retina specialist at Stanford, requesting that that specialist contact me directly. Dr. Chang single-handedly overcame all the red tape, and the retina specialist contacted our family directly right away. Thank you Dr. Chang! God bless you! Our family is so grateful for you! Dr Chang is a one of a kind doctor. He is not only extremely intelligent and knowledgeable — the top of the field in glaucoma — I was referred to him by another ophthalmologist and actually changed insurance plans so I could see him — but he is also extremely kind, humble and patient. He’ll listen carefully to my concerns, explains thoroughly, and even responds to questions I think of after the appointment that I send him via email. He also is very careful and has scheduled close-together appointments to monitor the condition. My heart feels very much at peace because of his care.
